Academic Council
The Academic Council is the principal academic body to co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University. It is responsible for maintaining the academic standards. The constitution, powers and function of the Academic Council shall be prescribed by Statutes.
The Council has following powers:
to organize and promote skill related trainings and programmes, to give recognition to industries, firms, institutions, different registered workshops, laboratories, training institutes as training platform for students of the University, to work out the modalities to standardise vocational and skill development education offered by different organizations and to withhold recognition of defaulting bodies. The composition and other powers and functions shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
