OSOU Mobile App launched

Odisha State Open University launched the Mobile App in its second Foundation Day on 10^th Jan 2017. The app was inaugurated by the Prof. Ravindra Kumar, Vice- Chancellor IGNOU, New Delhi. App is now available in the Play Store under the name “OSOU” for free download.

The home screen comprises of the icons OSOU: Mandate- Vision & Mission, Academic Programmes on offer, location of Study Centers, Profiles of learners, counselors and course writers, Student Corner, News and Notices, e-Resources, Video Lessons, Audio Lessons, Media files, OER Repository, Feedback from learners on support services, and Exam Results.

The objective of launching the app is to increase the access to educational resources of the University through android mobile phone by anyone, at anytime and from anywhere. Written texts, video/audio lessons are now free for all as part of Open Education Resources (OER).
