Notification on the Conduct of Term End Examination and CMA in September 2021

It is hereby notified to all concerned that the Term End Examinations June 2021 for the 2^nd and 4^th semester of all Programs will be held in September 2021 through Online Mode. 

Regarding Assignment, it has been decided that there will be no physical submission of assignments in the Study Centres. Instead the learners will appear for Computer Marked Assignment (CMA) having same weightage of 25%.

a)     The Mode of CMA will be online and are of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) type.

b)    There will be 50 MCQ questions for each course.

c)     The total marks are 100 for each CMA component.

d)    There are no negative marks.

e)     The total time for each CMA component will be of one-hour duration. The CMA slot will be activated for three hour during which a learner can log in and will complete the test in one hour. On completion of one-hour duration of login time, the concerned CMA will automatically get submitted.

The guideline, instruction, final date sheet, and schedule for the Mock Test of the online mode of examinations will be notified shortly. 

In view of the present situation, it has also been decided to reduce the syllabus for the above mentioned semesters. The details of the Reduced Syllabus is available on the OSOU Website.

Learners are further requested to check and update their contact details (Mobile Number and Email Id) on the Learners Portal for the smooth communication of examination related information.
