The is for information of all the learners of OSOU that the learners who have applied for the said scholarship online and those who aspire to apply, ensure the following for necessary rectification/modification in the application form on line and resubmit a copy of the same (if modified as per the requirement ) for our doing the needful.

• AADHAAR card details like name of the candidate, father’s name, address, date of birth etc. must match with the information provided in the PRERANA application as well as with the certificates/ credentials submitted with the application.
• Any mismatch as stated above tantamount to rejection of the application.
• It is further advised that candidates in their own interest ensure AADHAAR linking with their bank account and mobile number.
• Before modifications/submitting the application online learners are requested to visit our website/advt. in the newspaper dt.08.11.2019 for clarifications and guidance.

DO’S AND DON’TS FOR PRERANA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS

Eligible learners of our University are requested to go through the advt. (appended below) inviting applications for Prerana Scholarship for the year 2019-20.
They are further requested to apply online and take care of the following aspects:

• Aadhar link of the bank account is mandatory.
• There should not be mismatch in documents uploaded and information submitted through the online form.
• After applying online the downloaded hard copy of the application duly signed with required enclosures like:
• Self-attested pass port photograph,
• Can/ attested copies of proof of income(family income),
• Cast certificate,
• Residential certificate,
• Qualifying examination certificate & mark sheet,
• I-card issued by the university,
• Aadhar card,
• Bank pass book and
• Other relevant document (if any) be submitted to the University hq, Sambalpur by regd/speed post.
• In the column meant for writing name of the institution where the candidate is pursuing the course, don’t write the name of the college, where your study centre is located but write name of our University (Odisha State Open University) and the place (Sambalpur).
